the views from our room were just amazin, waking up to the eiger mountain right outside was the best! the staff was super friendly and helped us with all kinds of info about grindelwald. we also got free bus rides with our stay which made it easy to explore. breakfast was basic but pretty good, loved that they packed us a takeaway for an early check-out. overall, super comfy and money well spent!
the bathroom was a bit small, and the shampoo could’ve been better. also, we wished for a mosquito net since it got hot and we couldn’t leave the window open.

The breathtaking views of the Eiger Mountain from my balcony took my breath away every morning. Rooms offer a cozy atmosphere with comfortable beds, making sleep rejuvenating after long hikes. A quick access to hiking trails right outside the door provided an amazing way to explore the scenery. Breakfast had a delightful variety, including flexible take-away options for early risers. the bathroom felt a bit cramped, and the absence of air conditioning made it warm during the day. Opening the window for airflow occasionally invited noise from outside, which could be quite distracting at times. The decor felt somewhat dated, which contrasted with the stunning location. Even though my stay had a few small bumps, the value for money was evident. I'd recommend this place for its incredible views and cozy accommodations.

The balcony views from the room were spectacular, offering a great way to unwind after a day of movements. The quick access to hiking trails right outside the door made it convenient for outdoor enthusiasts to hit the ground running each morning.
The room felt cramped, particularly for a group, leading to some discomfort. A notable downside was the absence of air conditioning, which forced us to leave the door open for airflow, inviting in unwanted noise and smoke from neighboring balconies. The furniture and decor felt outdated, which clashed with the otherwise beautiful surroundings. the breakfast area was often crowded and the selection seemed limited, making mornings less enjoyable than they could have been.

Highly Recommended for Families
We had an amazing time here. The staff was really friendly and they even offered us decaf coffee, which was a great touch after a long day out. Plus, the breakfast was pretty impressive with a nice variety and it was set up so appealingly.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but for the experience, I think it was worth it.

The views from our balcony were simply unbelievable, making every morning feel magical. We loved relaxing on the sun terrace and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere while sipping our coffee. The only minor hassle was having to cross the street to the main building for anything we needed, but it didn't bother us too much. 🌞
